An interactive cost per page calculator anyone can use
Type in your monthly print volume and current toner costs, and this calculator shows your cost-per-page in real time. Compare it against typical office MPS rates to see whether your current setup is competitive.
Cost per page calculator
How to use the numbers
The calculator shows three values. Mono cost-per-page combines toner cost, paper, and service amortised across mono pages. Colour cost-per-page does the same for colour. Monthly total adds up all expected spending for the month at your stated volumes.
Compare your numbers against typical Spanish office MPS rates: €0.008-0.012 mono and €0.058-0.085 colour are competitive. If your current setup produces materially higher numbers, an MPS contract may produce real savings. If your numbers are already within or below this band, you are operating efficiently.
What the calculator does not include
Several costs sit outside what most CPP calculations include: hardware acquisition (purchase or renting payment), electricity, staff time managing supplies and faults, and downtime cost when the device is unavailable. For a full total cost of ownership analysis, add these to the CPP-derived spending.
When to share the result with a dealer
For dealer procurement conversations, the calculator's output produces a useful baseline. Share your current volumes and current CPP with candidate dealers. Their proposed MPS rates should beat your current numbers materially — by 15-30% typically for offices not yet on MPS contracts. If the proposed rate barely matches your current cost, the dealer is not offering competitive value.
